   1. Synopsis
      

      Semden Rigpai Pelkhang is a Degree College that offers 3 years BA (Buddhist Studies) with six semesters. It is a higher learning Institution for Buddhist Literature and Philosophy. It also offers various courses for spiritual advancement (Mind Training) and bilingual studies.

      It started in 2011 and at that initial stage, the Institution offered BA Continuing Education. The regular courses of BA in Buddhist Philosophy started in 2016.

      The College of Semden Rigpai Pelkhang and Dungsam Academy both belongs to Zhung Dratsang and Dungsam Academy is privileged to be affiliation to this college for higher studies. This College reserves automatic scholarship slots every year for Dungsam Academy.

   2. Je Khenpo’s scholarship : 1 slot (based on availability of yearly slots).

   Criteria
   The criteria for selection of candidates for this prestigious scholarship is based on the following
   1. Apply to school with all bio data latest by end of the academic year
   2. Having pass marks in BHSEC and with English and Dzongkha Marks above 45% respectively.
   3. CC from DA and previous school
   4. Highly interested in the courses offered
   5. Economically disadvantages students (poor family background: poor income and large family members).
   6. Students from single parent/orphan/parental negligence
